Designed for mobile bidding platforms, this model requires no upfront purchase. You reserve an Edition, list it in your auction, and only complete the transaction if it meets your reserve.

As bidders compete, outbid notifications naturally pull them back in — keeping the Edition active throughout the auction and increasing engagement.

1.  Reserve your Edition with no upfront purchase required. Reserve the Edition of your choice up to 21 days before your event. A Winning Redemption Certificate is emailed to you within 1–2 business days of reservation confirmation.

2.  We provide professional photos, a complete item description, and listing copy — sized and formatted for your mobile auction platform — included with every reservation.

3.  Your guests bid through your platform during the event. The Edition lives in your mobile auction catalog. The sealed format keeps every bidder guessing — and competing.

4.  If the reserve is met, visit Authorization Redemption in the main menu at clutcheditions.com and submit the redemption form with your authorization code, your contact information, and the winning bidder's name, email, phone, and shipping address. We will verify your code and send you a payment invoice within 1–2 business days. Once payment is confirmed, we ship the Edition directly to the winning bidder. Standard shipping is included.

5.  If the reserve is not met, no transaction occurs, no payment is due, and the Edition is taken off reserve.

Clutch Editions does not publish Estimated Retail Values as bidding anchors. This is intentional. Presenting a known value before bidding opens creates a ceiling on what guests are willing to bid. Complete contents documentation is provided so you know exactly what is in each Edition — and full FMV documentation is provided to the winning bidder after the auction closes.

We recommend setting your opening bid at or above the reserve price. This ensures your organization covers its cost on the very first bid. Every dollar above that is profit for your cause. The possibility of what could be inside is what drives the competitive bidding.
